Packlify ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Packlify platform, available at packlify.com (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and what rights you have over your data.

By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Account Information

When you sign in with Google, we receive from Google the following information about your account:

• Email address
• Display name
• Google profile photo URL
• A unique identifier associated with your Google account

We do not collect or store passwords. Authentication is handled entirely by Firebase Authentication (a Google service).

1.2 Content You Create

As you use Packlify, we store the content and settings you create, including:

• Brand settings (business name, industry, tone of voice, target audience, brand colors, keywords, logo images)
• Product catalog entries (names, descriptions, images)
• AI chat history and conversation messages
• AI-generated content (text and images) saved to your account

1.3 Usage and Analytics Data

We collect data about how you use the Service, including the features you access, the number of AI generations you perform, credit consumption, and timestamps of activity. This helps us improve the product and monitor for abuse.

1.4 Billing Information

Payments are processed by LemonSqueezy, a third-party payment processor. We do not store your credit card number or payment card details. We receive from LemonSqueezy your subscription status, plan tier, and transaction history as needed to manage your account.

1.5 Technical Data

We may collect standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type, and operating system when you use the Service. This is used for security purposes and service reliability.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the Service
• Generate AI content tailored to your brand settings and prompts
• Manage your account, subscription, and credit balance
• Respond to your support requests
• Monitor and enforce our Terms of Use
• Improve and develop new features of the Service
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising purposes.

3. AI Processing — Google Gemini

Packlify uses Google Gemini to generate text and images. When you send a message or request a content generation, the following data is transmitted to Google's Gemini API:

• Your chat messages and prompts
• Your brand settings (name, industry, tone, keywords, product information)
• Contextual metadata needed to generate relevant content

This data is processed by Google in accordance with their API terms and privacy policies. Packlify does not share your account email address or personal identity with the Gemini API — only the content context described above is sent.

By using the AI features of Packlify, you acknowledge that your prompts and brand context will be processed by Google's AI infrastructure. We recommend you do not include sensitive personal information (such as passwords, financial details, or identification numbers) in your prompts.

4. Third-Party Services

4.1 Google (Firebase, Gemini, Google Sign-In)

We use the following Google services to operate Packlify:

• Firebase Authentication — handles user sign-in via Google OAuth.
• Firestore — stores your brand settings, products, content, and account data on Google Cloud infrastructure.
• Firebase Cloud Storage — stores your uploaded logo images and AI-generated image files.
• Firebase Cloud Functions — processes business logic including AI requests and billing operations.
• Google Gemini API — generates AI text and image content based on your prompts and brand context.

Your data is stored on Google Cloud servers, which may be located in multiple geographic regions. Google's data processing is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.

4.2 LemonSqueezy

Payment processing is handled by LemonSqueezy. When you purchase a subscription or credit pack, you will be redirected to LemonSqueezy's checkout. Packlify does not receive or store your payment card details. LemonSqueezy's data practices are governed by their own privacy policy.

5. Cookies and Tracking

Packlify uses a minimal number of cookies, limited to those strictly necessary to operate the Service:

• Firebase Authentication session cookie — keeps you signed in across browser sessions. This is an essential cookie and cannot be disabled while using the Service.

We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking cookies, or analytics cookies from third-party tracking platforms. We do not participate in remarketing or behavioural advertising programs.

6. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on Google Cloud infrastructure via Firebase. Google Cloud maintains industry-standard physical, technical, and administrative security measures including encryption at rest and in transit (TLS).

Access to your data within Packlify is restricted by Firestore security rules, which ensure that each user can only access their own data. There is no user-to-user data sharing within the platform.

While we take reasonable measures to protect your data, no system can guarantee complete security. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password for your Google account and to enable two-factor authentication on your Google account.

7. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account remains active. This includes your brand settings, product catalog, chat history, and generated content.

If you request account deletion, we will delete your personal data and all associated content from our systems within 30 days of receiving your request. Some data may be retained for a limited period in anonymised or aggregated form for service improvement purposes.

Billing and transaction records may be retained for a longer period as required by applicable financial and tax regulations.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have certain rights with respect to your personal data. Regardless of your location, we commit to honouring the following:

• Right of access — you can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Right to rectification — you can update your account information directly within the Service, or contact us to correct inaccurate data.
• Right to erasure (right to be forgotten) — you can request deletion of your account and all associated personal data.
• Right to data portability — you can request an export of the content and data you have created in Packlify.
• Right to restrict processing — you can ask us to stop processing your data in certain circumstances.
• Right to object — you can object to processing of your data based on our legitimate interests.

9. GDPR — Users in the European Economic Area

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies to our processing of your personal data.

Our legal bases for processing your personal data are:

• Performance of a contract — processing necessary to deliver the Service you have signed up for, including generating AI content and managing your account.
• Legitimate interests — processing for security monitoring, fraud prevention, and service improvement, where these interests are not overridden by your rights.
• Legal obligation — processing required to comply with applicable law, including financial record-keeping.

Please be aware that your data is transferred to and processed on Google Cloud infrastructure, which may operate outside the EEA. Google provides adequate safeguards for such transfers under the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority if you believe we have not handled your data in accordance with applicable law.

10. Children's Privacy

Packlify is a business tool intended for use by individuals aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age of 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, please contact us at support@packlify.com and we will take steps to delete that information promptly.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you by email or through a notice within the Service.

Your continued use of the Service after any changes to this policy constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
